A Message from Your Principal

Dear EB Wilson Parents and Families,

This is an incredibly difficult time for our community, and we are so proud of all the ways we have come
together already. I can’t speak highly enough about our EBW students who jumped right back in their
Edgenuity online course work after spring break.  With schools on an extended closure through April 24,
we have revised some of our previous instructional processes to better support continued learning for
our students. while school remains closed. Emails have been going out weekly to all parents and
students.  If you have not received these emails, please email me so I can add you to my weekly
communication email distribution.  Below is our current “Continued Student Learning” process, which
was emailed last week to all parents and students.

• Edgenuity Course Work– Students will continue to work through their currently enrolled
Edgenuity courses.  If students need another copy of their class syllabus, they can email their
teacher to have one sent to them. The syllabi are also uploaded on the course Google drives.

• ZOOM Course Group Instruction - Since Tuesdays and Thursdays have always been our student
direct instruction days, for convenience, we kept our Virtual ZOOM Instruction on these 2 days
as well. The ZOOM schedule is as follows:

Every Tuesday
English III – 10:00am – 11:00am
English IV – 11:00am – 12:00pm

Every Thursday
US History – 9:00am – 10:00am
English II – 10:00am – 11:00am
Biology – 11:00am – 12:00pm
Algebra II – 1:00pm – 2:00pm
Algebra I – 2:00pm – 3:00pm
Geometry – 3:00pm – 4:00pm

• ZOOM Individualed Instruction – Any student who needs individualized instruction can reach
out to their teacher to schedule a day/time that is convenient to teacher and student.

We recognize each family is navigating unique challenges, so please do not hesitate to reach out to me.  Please take care and I hope everyone is safe and well.

In partnership with you,

Dr. Tanya R. Coleman, EB Wilson Principal
