GED Option is an alternative for students who are unlikely to graduate with their high school class because of insufficient credits. Who May Enroll? The program is open to students enrolled in the Sumner County School System who are 17 years old and lack sufficient credits to receive a high school diploma. At the time of referral, the student must be in his or her original graduation year. Interested student should contact their school guidance counselor. What if I need additional information?
